Nathan Hopp

Nathan Hopp was born and raised in Green Bay, Wis. He discovered his love for reading and fiction as a teenager in high school and, a couple years later, began writing countless short stories and flash fictions all the way into the present day — from vignettes submitted for various magazines to short stories posted online. Examples include horror, science fiction, young adult, etc., but his favorite genre to write involves the use of anthropomorphic characters as well as science fiction.

His first published novel, The Adventures of Peter Gray, from Written Dreams Publishing, is a historical coming-of-age fantasy about anthropomorphic animals and humans set in 1899 New York City and the trials and tribulations an orphaned wolf urchin experiences on the streets of Manhattan. It debuted April 2018. Nathan also hopes to write more novels as a member of the Furry Writer’s Guild and as the newest member of Allied Authors of Wisconsin.

Besides spending most of his free time as an avid participant and author in the diverse furry and science fiction fandoms, other interests include running a review blog, listening to “Ode to Joy” for hours, watching random anime and surviving college one semester at a time. Some of his short stories and flash works can be found on SoFurry, FurAffinity and DeviantArt at the respective links below:
